COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS MANAGEMENT SUPPORT
The Upper Valley Humane Society (UVHS) seeks a personable,
organized, detail oriented, outgoing, and energetic person
to join our Community Connections team to promote a humane
community and help pets and families in need. Our Community
Connections Management Support position is vital in helping
UVHS connect with and spread awareness in our communities.
Primary responsibilities are to:
- Serve as an initial and
primary resource for community members contacting UVHS
regarding donations, in-kind donations, tours, and general
information related to Community Connections through
phone, e-mail, and visits to the UVHS Training Center.
- Organize and conduct tours for community members at
UVHS.
- Provide marketing and outreach coordination
and production management for existing collateral including
the UVHS Newsletter and Paw Prints Calendar, and other
marketing and collateral updates.
- Coordinate adoptable
pet postings and advertisements and update content for
UVHS’s website.
- Provide event planning support,
create collateral, and represent UVHS in the community
at outreach events, supply drive events such as the Hanover
Street Fest and UVHS’s own Shop Shaw’s for
Paws, and fundraising events such as UVHS’s Annual
Auction: An Evening to Paws. Some evenings and weekends
required.
- Coordinate and manage the Hosted Benefit
Events Program. Some evenings and weekends required.
- Coordinate UVHS’s Cans, Bins, and Boards
Programs and other Giving Programs.
- Provide administrative
support for select donor relations initiatives, including
associated data entry, and for Board of Director projects.
- Work
to support UVHS’s President and CEO,
Community Connections Manager, and Community Support
Specialist on various initiatives.
- Help support other
UVHS Community Connections initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a person with excellent interpersonal
and time management skills, who is highly organized and
detail oriented and likes working in a fast-paced, dynamic
environment. The ability to juggle multiple demands and
work collaboratively are critical. Candidates must have
proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Adobe Creative
Suite experience preferred. Associate’s or Bachelor’s
degree preferred.
