Cayla was rescued from a dog meat farm in South Korea by Humane Society International (HSI) in April, 2016, and brought to UVHS as one of its emergency placement partners. She was shut down and fearful, much like a human victim of trauma. After months of love, care, patience and training, Cayla is ready to find a loving home. She needs to be the only pet in her new home, and will need someone committed to the hard work and wonderful rewards of caring for a dog like this. The adoption process for Cayla is different because she has many more needs than a typical dog. If you’re interested in the possibility of adopting Cayla, please contact our Canine Coordinator, Sherri, at sherri.champney@uvhs.org or 603-448-6888 ext. 114.
