The Betty Farnsworth Tranquility Garden
Our peaceful garden honors Betty Farnsworth, one of UVHS’s founding members, who has given over 50 years of service to the organization as a dedicated volunteer and UVHS Board Member.
Betty’s love and compassion for all animals inspired the garden, which provides a beautiful, tranquil space for both people and pets to share. The garden offers shade-covered benches for sitting and remembering loved ones and a quiet space for prospective adopters to visit with dogs that are available for adoption in a relaxed setting.
UVHS invites you to share in the beautiful garden by ordering a remembrance gift in memory or in honor of a loved one.
Remembrance gifts include:
- Personalized Benches
- Engraveable Stones
- Perennial Plants
Your purchase will not only support the cost of the remembrance gift, but also the installation and yearly maintenance of your gift.
The garden, located next to the Animal Care Center, is open from May 15 to October 15.
If you would like more information about this beautiful garden and how you may participate, please call our executive director at (603) 448-6888 ext. 110 or firstname.lastname@example.org
