Shelter Veterinarian

Upper Valley Humane Society is seeking a part-time veterinarian to oversee routine and critical medical care of all animals in the shelter, with a focus on herd health maintenance.  The Shelter Veterinarian will serve as the veterinarian of record for UVHS and is responsible for conducting animal examinations and performing surgical and non-surgical procedures.  Candidates must have current license to practice in NH; dual license in VT is preferred.  This is a 24 hour-per-week, hourly position.  Schedule is generally Monday, Tuesday and Thursday with some flexibility based on the needs of the individual and the organization, as well as for emergencies.  The position may require occasional evening or weekend hours. For a full job description, click here.

Full-Time, Customer & Animal Care Technician
The Upper Valley Humane Society is looking for energetic, outgoing, dependable and detail-oriented persons with a passion for helping people and animals to join our animal care and customer service team on a part-time and seasonal basis. Some animal care and handling experience is preferred, but a positive attitude and good communication skills are a must. Candidates must be 18 years of age or older, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and have reliable transportation. Candidates must be available weekends and holidays. Starting pay rate is $10 per hour.
