Customer & Animal Care Technician (full-time and part-time positions available)

The Upper Valley Humane Society is looking for an animal superhero to join us as a Customer & Animal Care Technician. There are two main aspects of the job: 1) direct animal care including cleaning, feeding, and training and 2) customer care which includes adopting animals into new loving homes and helping clients of our on-site pet food pantry.
There’s a chance you may be an ideal Animal Care Technician if:
Boredom is your enemy. Nothing makes you happier than a busy day at work – things so busy that you look up and realize it’s the end of your shift already. Even better if you love it when you don’t know what the day will bring and there’s always something new to learn. You’re the kind of person who always makes sure that all the i’s are dotted and the t’s are crossed.
Weekend and some holiday hours are required.

Buildings & Grounds (Part-time)
Upper Valley Humane Society seeks a driven, organized and friendly individual to maintain our buildings and campus landscape. Tasks include small maintenance projects, lawn care, and routine custodial duties. Experience with lawn equipment, power tool operation, and simple construction is essential. Familiarity with basic plumbing and/or electrical is a plus. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and yet see themselves as an important part of the team, contributing to shelter success by providing clean, functional, orderly, and attractive work spaces and grounds. $15/hour.
