Adoption Process & Fees

Adoption Process

We use a conversational approach to the adoption process to help match you with a companion animal. Rather than an application, we have an adoption survey. The survey will help identify the type of animal you’re looking for and allow us to make the best match possible.

All available animals can be viewed right here on our website. This is the most up-to-date information as the website is connected to our animal database.

When you see an animal you are interested in, please contact us right away. Call 603-448-6888 or email info@uvhs.org. We will email you an adoption survey to complete and send back. After that, a staff member will contact you to set up a meet & greet!

In many cases, you may take your new furry family member home the same day.
