Mascoma Bank Awards Grant to Help the Animals

Every year, we spend at least $15,000 on medical supplies for pets. Supplies include exam gloves, bandages, vaccines, flea/tick treatments, over-the-counter medications, prescriptions, anesthesia drugs for surgeries, etc. As a small, non-profit animal shelter that relies on donations from our community, this is a large but crucial expense.

Our community partner, Mascoma Bank, recognized this essential need and stepped forward to help the animals. This year, they donated $5,000 towards veterinary supplies so that we could care for animals until they are adopted.
