Customer & Animal Care Tech

Do you have a passion for animals and helping people who love them?

If you are an energetic go-getter who has a passion for helping people, but who also loves animals, solves problems, nails the details, and loves a challenge, we want to hear from you.

The Upper Valley Humane Society is looking for an animal superhero to join us as a Customer & Animal Care Technician. There are two main aspects of the job: 1) direct animal care including cleaning, feeding, and training and 2) customer care which includes adopting animals into new loving homes and helping clients of our on-site pet food pantry.

There’s a chance you may be an ideal Animal Care Technician if:
Boredom is your enemy. Nothing makes you happier than a busy day at work – things so busy that you look up and realize it’s the end of your shift already. Even better if you love it when you don’t know what the day will bring and there’s always something new to learn. You’re the kind of person who always makes sure that all the i’s are dotted and the t’s are crossed.

Weekend and some holiday hours are required.

Candidates must be 18 years of age or older, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and have reliable transportation. Candidates must be available weekends and some holidays. Starting pay rate is $11.50 per hour.
